Eight hundred competitors, six hundred & fifty cars, and over twenty Powertec engines!

Four Powertec-engined cars made it to the final, those of Ant Ross, Neil Ashmore, Lee Waldron and Alan O'Keefe.

Lee Waldron was the highest points scorer, with three heat wins, but it was Ant Ross who won the final with his 1350cc 'big bang' motor and Neil Ashmore was third in his conventional 1300cc Powertec-powered car. Lee and Alan followed close behind.

John Whitehouse had a clean sweep in his 1000cc powered Class 10 car. A bad start in the final saw him go from last to second, only one lap away from a potential win!
